Top tips for succulent Easter lamb

Chop chop! Head to Aldi and get everything you need to rustle up the best ever lamb this Easter.

Choose Your Cut

Which succulent cut will you go for? If you don’t want to miss out on any of the Easter fun, a roast rack of lamb will be ready much quicker than a roast leg so you can spend less time in the kitchen!

Be a Prep Pro

Rustle up a deliciously crispy and flavoursome centrepiece. Simply score the fat of the lamb roast and place in some rosemary sprigs for a chef-worthy taste.

Lock In Flavour

Surprise everyone and give your cut the extra flavour factor! Try mixing your favourite seasonings and herbs like paprika, cumin and coriander and make sure you marinate your lamb overnight or for at least 30 minutes.

Cook To Perfection

For the best flavour, serve your lamb rare to medium. Using a thermometer, monitor the temperature to rare at 60°C, medium-rare to 60-65°C, and medium to 65-70°C.

Spring inspired sides

Whether you’re entertaining for 4 or 12 this Easter, our sides are serving up great value! From fresh spring veggies to good old Yorkshire puds, complete your feast with the ultimate seasonal sides.

Slow Roasted Spring Vegetables

We love a one pan recipe. Nothing is easier than tossing all your favourite veg in a dish and bunging it in the oven!

Top tips for baking with chocolate

Melt Chocolate

Nobody likes burnt chocolate! Melt your chocolate in the microwave in short bursts or on the hob and make sure you are stirring it and checking it every 5 seconds to prevent it overheating.

Too Thick?

Put down the water! Even a drop can ruin your chocolate. Instead, use some butter to thin out melted chocolate and keep it smooth.

Avoid Lumps

Make sure you always sift your cocoa powder to dodge lumpy batter and guarantee your bake comes out as a showstopper!

Intense Flavour

Bring some extra flavour to your bake by adding a shot of espresso or 1-2 tablespoons of instant coffee to your chocolate cake or brownie recipe.
