Supermarket Sweep

Ready, set, dash! Since its launch in 2016, Aldi’s Supermarket Sweep has been bringing excitement to stores across Scotland while making a real difference in local communities. This event gives lucky participants five minutes to race through an Aldi store, filling their trolleys with as many goodies as they can grab. Aldi then matches the total value of the haul and donates it to CHAS, turning every sweep into a win for a worthy cause.

Every dash helps CHAS

This year, we will be raising vital funds for Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS). Every Sweep supports CHAS in providing compassionate care for children with life-shortening conditions and their families, ensuring they receive the support they need, when they need it most.

Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS)

CHAS is a charity providing unwavering care to children who may die young and their families, at every step on this hardest of journeys. From diagnosis to bereavement, CHAS offers palliative, respite, and end-of-life care at hospices, in homes, and in hospitals across Scotland. Working with health boards and local authorities, they ensure families receive the right support when they need it most. With love and compassion, CHAS helps families create precious memories and ensures no-one should face the death of their child alone.

In April, CHAS launched its £20m More Than a Hospice Appeal, a once in a generation chance to redesign how Scotland cares for children and their families, giving families real choice so they can be cared for at home, in hospital or in a hospice, and that they feel held, supported and not alone.
