Spiced Salted Honey Nuts

Delciously spicy yet salty, these nuts make a great snack.

Ingredients
- 125g Whole Almonds
- 100g Cashew Nuts
- 100g Macadamia Nuts
- 100g Runny Honey
- 2 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Chilli Powder
- ½ tsp Mixed Spice
- 15g Light Brown Soft Sugar
Method
- Pre-heat the oven to 170°C/325°F/Gas Mark 3.
- Line a large baking sheet with non-stick paper.
- Put the honey, a teaspoon of salt, the mixed spice and chilli powder into a medium size bowl.
- Add all the nuts and mix well.
- Pour the nuts onto the lined baking sheet and spread out to a single layer.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, until golden.
- Take the nuts out of the oven and sprinkle over the brown sugar and the remaining salt.
- Return to the oven for a further 2/3 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool a little.
- Remove the nuts from the baking paper before they get too cold as they will stick to it.
- Pile into a bowl and serve.
