Italian Puff Pastry Tarts

Tasty Italian pastry treats. Ideal for starters, sharing and snacking.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Ready Rolled Greenvale Puff Pastry
  • 375g Black Pitted Olives
  • 200g pack Feta Cheese
  • 190g Green Pesto
  • 2 x Peppers

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6.
  2. Unroll the pastry and divide into 4 equal slices. Put them onto a large baking sheet.
  3. With a sharp knife, score a 2cm border around the edge of each slice.
  4. Spread the pesto over the pastry up to the border on all 4 slices.
  5. Slice the peppers into thin strips, discard any white pith and seeds.
  6. Chop the feta into small cubes. Put 6 black olives on each slice.
  7. Brush a little milk onto the pastry border, bake for 15-20 minutes until risen and browned.
