Cheesy Hash Brown Bites

Our Cheesy Hash Brown Bites are a wonderful appetiser, or a delicious addition to your English breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 x 225g block Grilling Cheese
  • 12 Hash Browns, defrosted
  • 60g Plain Flour
  • 1 flat tsp Paprika
  • 2 medium Eggs
  • Salt and Black Pepper
  • Peri Peri Sauce, to serve

  

Method

  1. Cut the cheese into 18 cubes.
  2. Put the flour and paprika in a bowl and season with some salt and pepper.
  3. Break the eggs in another bowl and whisk well.
  4. Break up the hash browns into bits.
  5. Dip the cubes of cheese in the flour to coat, then in the egg wash and then in the potato bits, roll in the palm of your hand into a ball, making sure the cheese is covered with the potato.
  6. Cook in an air fryer at 180ºC for 15 minutes or until they’re golden and crispy – cook in two lots of 8.
  7. Serve alongside the peri peri sauce to dip.
