Turkey Bolognese Spaghetti

Swap beef mince to low fat turkey for a healthy twist on this classic rich bolognese sauce and spaghetti.

Ingredients

  • 500g Turkey Mince
  • 1x 400g Tin Chunky Chopped Tomatoes With Herbs
  • 400g Everyday Essentials Spaghetti
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the minced turkey.
  2. Boil a large pan of water and season with salt, add the spaghetti and cook for 8-9 minutes until just cooked.
  3. When the minced turkey is starting to brown, add the chopped tomatoes and half a tin of water and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Leave the bolognese simmering while the spaghetti cooks.
  5. When the pasta is cooked and the sauce has thickened, divide the pasta between 4 dishes and top with the turkey bolognese, then serve.
