Minted Lamb Burger

These tender lamb burgers are perfect for both lunches and dinners.

Ingredients

  • 500g Lamb leg steaks
  • 4 x Specially Selected seeded burger buns
  • 1 x tsp Dried mixed herbs
  • 70g Mayonnaise
  • 1 x tsp Mint sauce
  • Half iceberg lettuce
  • 4 x Salad tomatoes
  • 1 x Red onion
  • Sea salt and black pepper

  

Method

  1. Chop the lamb into small chunks.
  2. Put into a food processor, add the mixed herbs, season with salt and pepper and process till the lamb is minced.
  3. Divide into four.
  4. Roll into a ball and then flatter into 4 patties.
  5. Preheat the airfryer to 180°C.
  6. Put the burgers onto the fry tray.
  7. Close the fry basket and cook for 15 mins.
  8. Toast the cut sides of the buns.
  9. Mix the mint sauce with the mayo.
  10. Top the bun bases with lettuce, sliced tomato and red onion.
  11. Top with a burger, drizzle over the minted mayo – top with the bun lid and serve.
