Horseradish cream

  • 3tbsp Horseradish Sauce
  • 2tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Garlic Bread

  • Bake at Home Baguette
  • 25g Salted Butter
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, peeled and minced
  • 4g Fresh Flat Leaf Parsley, finely chopped

Method

  1. Trim off any fat from the steaks and discard, then cut each steak into 6 chunks.
  2. Place into a bowl with the olive oil, garlic and thyme.
  3. Cover with cling film and place in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
  4. To make the horseradish, mix all the ingredients together and season with pepper.
  5. Thinly cut the ends off the baguette, then slice slightly on the diagonal into 12 slices
  6. Combine the butter, minced garlic and parsley in a bowl and spread across each slice of baguette.
  7. Place the slices on a baking sheet and griddle or toast until golden and crispy.
  8. Remove the meat from the marinade.
  9. In a large frying pan, add a tablespoon of the olive oil from the marinade and add the steak chunks and the garlic.
  10. Fry for about 5 minutes, stirring as you cook, less time if you want a rarer steak.
  11. Sprinkle over the parsley and remove from the heat.
  12. Add a piece of steak to each bread slice, top with horseradish cream then sprinkle with more parsley.
