Ingredients
- 500g of Beef Mince - Divided Into 8 Patties
- 100g of Brie Cheese
- 4 Slices of Streaky Bacon
- 1 Red Onion - Thinly Sliced
- 1 tbsp of Honey
- 4 tsps of Mayonnaise (Or Aldi Baconnaise if you can get it)
- 4 Burger Buns
- 4 tsps of Cranberry Sauce
- 1 tsp of Smoked Paprika
- Pepper
- Olive Oil
- Salt
Method
- Season mince with salt and pepper, divide into 8 patties and flatten them out with your hand into large, thin patties. Put them in a pile and set aside.
- Candy the bacon by cutting the 4 slices in half and drizzling them with the honey. Season with black pepper and put under the grill for 20 mins until crispy.
- Prepare your burger buns by frying the bases of them in butter until golden and crispy. Remove them from the pan and add a teaspoon of baconnaise to the bottom of each one (if you can’t get this, add 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika to your mayo before adding to buns).
- Thinly slice your onion and fry it in a little oil until soft.
- Thinly slice your brie into 16-18 pieces.
- Heat up some oil in a pan and fry your first 4 burgers for 1 minute on each side, add them to the buns and top with 2 slices of brie. Then do the second lot, add them on top and top with 2 more slices of brie. Add 2 pieces of candied bacon then some fried onions.
- Top with cranberry sauce and serve.
