Cheeseburger Bowls

Skip the bun but not the flavour with these protein packed Cheeseburger Bowls

Ingredients

  • 500g Beef Mince
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 2 Loose, White Potatoes, Sliced
  • 1 Iceberg Lettuce, Sliced
  • 1 Handful Of Grated Mozzarella
  • 2 White Onions
  • 100g Cherry Tomatoes, Chopped
  • 150g Frozen Mushrooms Gherkin Slices (Optional)
  • 4 Tbsps Of Natural Yoghurt
  • 1 Tsp Of Smoked Paprika
  • 1 Tsp Of Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Of Ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Of Mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Of Chopped Gherkins (Optional)
  • 1 Pinch Of Sugar
  • 2 Tbsps Of White Wine Vinegar
  • Oil

Method

  1. Slice your potatoes with the skin on, drizzle with oil and season well with salt and pepper. Add them to the airfryer and cook on 200 degrees for 15 minutes or bake in a preheated oven on 200 degrees for 25 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  2. Heat up a little oil in a frying pan and add the beef mince with the minced garlic and fry for 5 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Add your onions to a frying pan with a teaspoon of sugar and the white wine vinegar and fry for 15-20 minutes on a low heat to caramelise.
  4. Add your mushrooms to a separate frying pan with a little salt and fry for 5 mins until soft.
  5. Cut up your iceberg lettuce and divide across 4 bowls. Layer the beef mince on top then add the chips, caramelised onions, mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and gherkins.
  6. Make up the burger sauce by adding the ingredients to a jug and mixing. Drizzle the sauce over the top and serve!
