‘Carbonara’ Pizzas

Try our new favourite pizza topping - creamy carbonara!

Ingredients

  • 250ml Natural Yoghurt
  • 375g Self Raising Flour
  • 125g Chestnut Mushrooms, Chopped
  • 8 Cloves Garlic, Finely Chopped
  • 150g Smoked Bacon, Chopped
  • 200g Creamy Lasagne Sauce
  • 125g Fresh Mozzarella, Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Grated Parmesan
  • Drizzle Of Olive Oil
  • Pinch Of Salt

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. To make the pizza dough, add the yoghurt and flour to a large mixing bowl with a pinch of salt and knead together with your hands until you get a soft dough that doesn’t stick to your hands. Add more flour if needed.
  2. Add flour to your worktop then add the dough on top and knead a bit more until you can divide it into 4 balls. Use a rolling pin to roll out the 4 balls into pizza shapes then place these pizza shapes on to baking paper (you’ll struggle to pick them up to put in the oven if you don’t). Then using a spoon, add 2 tablespoons of the creamy lasagne sauce onto each pizza base and spread it out all using the back of a spoon
  3. Finely chop the garlic, bacon and slice the mushrooms then add these to the pizzas.
  4. Chop up the mozzarella into small chunks and add these to the pizzas too with a sprinkle of parmesan and drizzle of olive oil then place in a preheated oven on 200 degrees for 15 minutes until golden brown.
