‘Carbonara’ Pizzas

Try our new favourite pizza topping - creamy carbonara!

Ingredients
- 250ml Natural Yoghurt
- 375g Self Raising Flour
- 125g Chestnut Mushrooms, Chopped
- 8 Cloves Garlic, Finely Chopped
- 150g Smoked Bacon, Chopped
- 200g Creamy Lasagne Sauce
- 125g Fresh Mozzarella, Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Grated Parmesan
- Drizzle Of Olive Oil
- Pinch Of Salt
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. To make the pizza dough, add the yoghurt and flour to a large mixing bowl with a pinch of salt and knead together with your hands until you get a soft dough that doesn’t stick to your hands. Add more flour if needed.
- Add flour to your worktop then add the dough on top and knead a bit more until you can divide it into 4 balls. Use a rolling pin to roll out the 4 balls into pizza shapes then place these pizza shapes on to baking paper (you’ll struggle to pick them up to put in the oven if you don’t). Then using a spoon, add 2 tablespoons of the creamy lasagne sauce onto each pizza base and spread it out all using the back of a spoon
- Finely chop the garlic, bacon and slice the mushrooms then add these to the pizzas.
- Chop up the mozzarella into small chunks and add these to the pizzas too with a sprinkle of parmesan and drizzle of olive oil then place in a preheated oven on 200 degrees for 15 minutes until golden brown.
