Summer Sangria

Recipe

Whether you prefer white or red, these wine-based summer tipples are best enjoyed whilst soaking up the sun.

Ingredients

For The White Sangria

  • 1 ripe Peach, stoned, peeled and chopped
  • 2 large Strawberries, washed and chopped
  • 200ml Baron Amarillo White Rioja, chilled
  • Aqua Vale Peach & Passion Fruit Sparkling Water
  • Ice Cubes
  • Lemon, sliced
  • Fresh Mint to garnish

  

For The Red Sangria

  • 80g Fresh Raspberries and Blueberries
  • 200ml Baron Amarillo Rioja, chilled
  • Aqua Vale Summer Fruits Sparkling Water
  • Ice Cubes Orange, sliced
  • Fresh Basil to garnish

  

Method

For The White Sangria

  1. Muddle the fruits together with the end of a wooden spoon and place in a large wine glass.
  2. Add some ice and some lemon slices to the glass.
  3. Pour over the white wine and stir well.
  4. Top with the sparkling water and garnish with some fresh mint.

  

For The Red Sangria

  1. Muddle the berries with the end of a wooden spoon and place in a large wine glass.
  2. Add some ice and some orange slices to the glass.
  3. Pour over the red wine and stir well.
  4. Top with the sparkling water and garnish with some fresh basil leaves.
