Ingredients
- 150g Unsalted Butter And Extra For Greasing
- 150g Caster Sugar
- 1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 2 Tbsp. Milk
- 2x Medium Eggs, Beaten
- 50g Plain Flour
- 75g Cocoa Powder
- 70g White / Milk Chocolate Buttons
Method
- Grease a 22cm ceramic or microwavable baking dish and line with baking paper.
- Cut the butter into cubes and add to a large microwavable bowl. Microwave for 1 minute or until melted.
- Add the sugar and whisk until creamy, making sure the sugar has fully dissolved.
- Pour the vanilla extract, milk, and beaten eggs into the butter mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Separately sift the flour and cocoa powder, then gently fold into the wet mix.
- Stir in the chocolate buttons and pour into the lined baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula or a big spoon.
- Cook on full power for 5 minutes, turning halfway through. The brownie should be risen and slightly firm to touch.
- Allow to cool completely before turning out and slicing.
- You can serve it with cream or ice cream and top with a dusting of cocoa powder.
